Smallfish Release – 23rd July 2014 – What’s New

Our developers have been working hard to pack some useful features into the latest Smallfish release. These changes have been deployed automatically so don’t worry, you don’t need to lift a finger! We hope you and your customers find life a little bit easier with these handy features in place.

Auto-save Customer Details in Checkout

Now, when your customers go through the checkout process and enter their details (email, billing and delivery addresses), these details will automatically be saved so customers are not required to enter them again (when they come back to buy more!). For non-wholesale customers, details will be saved provided the customer is using the same browser, on the same computer. For wholesale customers, we know who they are from their log in so this works no matter which browser they are using.

Email Address for Wholesale Login Customers

For those of you with wholesale log-in, we now ensure that the email address that your customer used to log-in is the one that is lodged against the order. This is automatically filled in within the checkout and it is unable to be changed.

Improvements to Product Import and Vend Sync Performance

We’ve also made a bunch of improvements to product import and Vend POS sync performance which should make a difference to those of you with large stores.
