We are proud to announce that Storbie will be helping hundreds of young entrepreneurs sell online with free ecommerce stores!
The Young Enterprise Trust is an independent charitable trust aimed at developing enterprising young New Zealanders by inspiring, educating and transforming students through enterprise experiences. They offer Enterprise Programmes for all year levels — the most prominent being the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) for Year 12 and 13 students — as well as other tools, competitions, training and development, all geared towards growing a more prosperous New Zealand through enterprise.
The team here at Storbie are really excited about aligning with The Young Enterprise Trust by providing all YES students with a free online store for their business venture. An ecommerce store will allow the students to plan and execute an online strategy and promote their brand, products and services to a wide audience. It is a great way to complement their entrepreneurial efforts and boost sales throughout the year.
Storbie held an introductory workshop for a group of students in Wellington recently, which was a great success. The students took to the website build process like a duck to water and some had their online store live within a matter of hours.
Also to launch in the coming months will be the YES Market, a central marketplace where you can find all products from the Young Enterprise Scheme online stores. This is especially exciting for both Storbie and the Young Enterprise Trust. We can’t wait to launch the YES Market so more and more people can browse, buy from, and support these talented young New Zealanders.
With the prevalence of online shopping, it makes sense for the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs to be leading the way in making innovative products available online. We look forward to seeing what the students create and will be sure to share the progress of our youngest members with you all!
