Storbie is Hiring! Join our experienced Design team as a Graphic Designer

As an up-and-coming designer you’re on the lookout for experience to kick-start your career. You’d like to work in an industry where the future is bright and with a company that is at the forefront of that growth; big enough to gain experience across a variety of projects and small enough to work closely with a talented and experienced team.

You’ll be working alongside our Creative Director to support the design services, product, sales and marketing teams. So, make like a sponge and soak up all the expertise of Storbie’s multi award-winning designer with over 20 years’ experience.

The role | Junior Graphic Designer – Fixed Term – Wellington

You’ll be working with one of NZ’s leading designers and a team of ecommerce experts. The primary task will be to help set up and design websites for retail businesses. There may also be opportunities to get involved in other projects including ongoing marketing collateral, brand design, motion graphics and animation.

We’re looking for

  • A design whizz with talent, passion and a range of skills from conceptual problem solving to design craft, including typography, iconography and retouching.
  • Web/digital design experience is vital too and there will be some print from time to time.
  • Expertise in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is a must.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, UI design, animation, 3D and illustration skills could also be advantageous.

We reckon the gig would suit a soon-to-be or recent design graduate.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

To apply please provide a cover letter, one-page CV and portfolio (or link to online portfolio site) to careers@storbie.com.
