Youthful Simplicity Wins Storbie Award

Scrunchies, playing cards, and drink bottles were part of a winning combination for Young Enterprise Companies finding success with Storbie.

Five companies have taken out honours at the 2018 Storbie Awards, with four awards being decided by judges, and a fifth award based on online sales.

Storbie judges chose Epoch Scrunchies for the Best Overall Website. They fought off tough competition from Bee Simple NZ, Girls of Steel, and Machia Co – two of which won in other categories – with their light and bright images to promote their hair scrunchies.

“The winning website had a sense of fun and personality, strong and consistent use of colour, and good clear content,” according to Tim Christie, Storbie Creative Director. “It’s a simple and likeable website that makes you want to buy from them.”

Epoch Scrunchies will receive a $50 Facebook Boost to help them with their marketing and sales.

Bee Simple NZ was named Best Home Page for their strong imagery and clear content of reusable food wrap.

Judges couldn’t go past Girls of Steel‘s impressive product photos to promote their empowering drink bottles and win Best Product Page.

And Bloom took out the Best Story Page with their comprehensive introduction to the team, the charity they’re supporting, and the businesses that have supported them.

Each will receive a $20 Facebook Boost from Storbie.

Finally, Kuranga Cards won the Storbie Success Award, being confirmed as the YES company with the most online sales. To help the team continue on their success, they will receive a free Storbie website for 2019, valued at $500.
