How to sell more using Storbie Marketplaces

One of the unique features of Storbie is the ability to create and join marketplaces.

A marketplace is an online destination for multiple shops to be grouped together to increase discoverability, it’s part of being “Different Together“. Much like going to physical markets, Storbie’s online marketplaces allow shoppers to browse a range of products. However these markets are always open and allow search from anywhere via mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

The more visibility your website and products have, the more likely customers will see your products and buy from you.

No more waiting until the weekend, handling cash or moving stock in the rain!

In this article we will look at how to get the most out of joining a marketplace with a listing page, as well as with an existing Storbie website. (more…)

Notable Marketing Dates in 2018 (including downloadable calendar)

When planning your sales and promotions for the year, there are some regular key dates to keep in mind, such as seasonal changes, public holidays, and school terms.

For example, if you sell books or items with quotes, why not focus on prose for World Poetry Day on March 21?

Share a photo of your staff dressed up for Pink Shirt Day on May 18 to show you take a stand against bullying.

Add some Te Reo to your products during Maori Language Week from 10-16 o Mahuru (September).

We’ve created this handy calendar with a mix of notable dates and special events to keep track of. (more…)
